PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Waukesha lobe pumps are positive displacement pumps utilizing contra-rotating lobes. The rotors are held by a shaft that is mounted within an external gearbox and supported by bearings. The timing gears are also placed on the shafts. As the timing gears rotate, they transfer the energy from the driveshaft to the driven shaft. This synchronizes the rotors so that they rotate without contact with each other. As the rotors pass the suction port, the cavity generated increases creating a pressure decrease, which induces the pumped medium to flow into the rotor case.

Waukesha’s new and improved range of lobe pumps is designed to outperform competitors in many industrial setups. The Universal lobe pumps are low-cost solutions but highly efficient as they adapt some Universal II’s advanced technology. The Universal I Series highlights versatility, reliability and easy-to-disassemble design for easier COP. The Universal II Series comprises modified and high strength pumps for sanitary and industrial applications.

The Universal III pumps are also known for their high sanitary features, making them ideal for handling fluids in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Waukesha’s lobe pumps are top-notch and designed to excel in various industrial settings. The Universal series is cost-effective, efficient, and uses advanced technology. Check out our range of Waukesha Universal lobe pumps to see how they can meet your needs.

The 5000 Series designed and manufactured by Waukesha Chery Burrel consists of high-efficiency rotary lobe pumps. They are configured and made available with several add-ons and material options to suit a wide variety of industrial applications.

These lobe pumps are self-priming, reversible, and are the pump of choice for pumping low viscosity and non-lubricating fluids, transfer duties in low inlet pressure systems, metering fluids, handling sophisticated products or high-viscosity media at low flows.

Waukesha Cherry Burrel 5000 Series are powerful pumps that can handle many different jobs. They’re easy to use and can work with many types of fluids. Check out All-Pumps’ available Waukesha Cherry Burrel 5000 Series products to see how they can help you.

The Waukesha twin screw pump is a positive displacement pump with outstanding hygienic capabilities. The pump consists of a pair of screws that rotate in different directions. As the pump rotates, the intermeshing of the two contra-rotating screws, along with the pump housing, form volumetric chambers or vacuum which causes fluid to come in. These chambers fill with the duty fluid and is moved axially from the suction side of the pump to the higher-pressure discharge side of the pump.

Waukesha’s Universal Twin Screw Series is a versatile and reliable solution for various process fluids. With its twin screw technology and ability to act as both a process pump and CIP pump, it offers flexibility and cost savings.
