Pioneer Vacuum-Assisted and Standard Centrifugal Pumps
Pioneer Pump’s standard centrifugal pumps are designed with advanced hydraulic engineering, making them ideal for high-pressure sewage, trash, and dewatering applications. Their large stainless-steel impeller eye provides lower Net Positive Suction Head required (NPSHr), resulting in higher lift capacity. Available in sizes ranging from 3 inches to 18 inches, Pioneer standard centrifugal pumps offer a wide variety of flow rates and head options to meet diverse application needs.
Features & Benefits
- Reduce operating costs with a high-performance impeller design that provides more flow with less horsepower
- They offer lower maintenance and overhead costs due to their durable construction and 17-4 PH stainless steel shaft.
Available Options
PIONEER PRIME
All Pioneer standard centrifugal pumps can be upgraded to a Pioneer Prime vacuum-assisted self-priming pump to:
- Deliver extreme flows with high-head capability
- Enable rapid (50 CFM) unattended priming and operation
- Achieve better suction lift and faster priming.
PUMP PACKAGE
A comprehensive range of pump package options is available for fixed and portable installations.
- Select from diesel engine and electric motor power options

Range
CLEAR LIQUIDS END SUCTION SERIES
The best-in-class standard centrifugal clear liquid processing pumps are designed to optimise performance in demanding applications such as mine dewatering and industrial process water. They are equipped with ductile iron wet ends, 17-4 PH stainless-steel shafts, and various rugged impeller materials to increase durability and resist high pressure and entrained moisture.
Features
- Available from 3” to 12” sizes
- All high-head models are fitted with casing balanced line to improve mechanical seal life
SOLIDS HANDLING END SUCTION SERIES
Pioneer centrifugal pumps are engineered for the toughest trash, sewage, and dewatering applications. They are available in a wide range of sizes and flow rates to cover most wastewater and process flow needs.
Features
- Available from 4” to 18” sizes
- The pumps can pass solids with sizes 2 to 4.5 inches in diameter
VORTEX SERIES
The Vortex Series™ is the ultimate solution for challenging applications dealing with solid-laden fluids. These chopper pumps utilise a recessed stainless impeller, allowing large solids to pass without clogging. By using vortex technology and eliminating internal wetted parts in standard pumps like chopper blades, they significantly reduce maintenance time and costs.
Features
- Available in 4” to 8” sizes
- Uses a high wear-resistant, recessed ductile iron impeller
Pioneer Pump Self-Priming Series
Pioneer self-priming pumps are built to efficiently handle both solids and clear liquids. Once primed, they can effortlessly reprime themselves, providing low maintenance and cost-effective performance. For enhanced durability and reliability, these pumps are constructed from high-quality materials, including heavy-wall ductile iron volutes and 17-4 PH stainless steel shafts.
Benefits
The external shim-less impeller adjustment feature of Pioneer self-priming pumps enables easy adjustment of tolerance between the impeller and wearplate.
The pumps use a cartridge-type tungsten mechanical seal that simplifies maintenance and installation.
The rotating assembly is fitted with a double-lip seal with an atmospheric drain for increased bearing protection.
GT Series
GT self-priming pumps are engineered for increased durability and to operate at higher speeds than standard pumps.
Features
