Arbo
ARBO is a manufacturer of excellent, extremely reliable, and corrosion-resistant pumps and filters for a wide range of industrial applications. With their product portfolio, ARBO provides a solution for practically every circulation, filtration or transport process.
ARBO pumps offer significantly longer service lives, thanks to the use of high-quality plastics. In the production of ARBO pumps, the following are taken into account to ensure reliable performance: simple construction, great uniformity of parts, use of only high-quality materials, simple maintenance, low energy costs and short payback times.
ARBO Centrifugal Pumps
ARBO centrifugal pumps are designed to offer reliable and excellent performance in a wide range of chemical handling applications and other fields where metal pumps do not suffice. These corrosion-resistant pumps are interchangeable with metal pumps due to standard connections.
All parts are machined from solid plastic, meaning there are no metal are exposed to the working fluid, making ARBO centrifugal pumps extremely corrosion-resistant.

Principle of Operation
Centrifugal pumps impart energy to the liquid by means of a centrifugal force developed by the rotation of the impeller. First, the liquid is injected into the pump, through the pump casing and down the impeller eye. Velocity energy is imparted to the liquid through the centrifugal force produced by the rotating impeller. The liquid is radially pushed out towards the impeller periphery. The velocity energy of the liquid is converted to pressure energy by directing it to an expanding volute design casing. The pumps operate at relatively higher speeds thus permitting a high liquid flow.

ARBO Magnetically Driven Pumps
The ARBO magnetically driven pumps are known for their high quality, reliability and durability. They are ideal for the transport and circulation of clean chemicals and other corrosive liquids. These pumps do not have a shaft seal – a common wear part in other pump types.
The pumps are fitted with a closed impeller (only the smallest type has an open impeller), offering optimum efficiency.

- Permanent drive magnet on the drive shaft
- Hermetically sealed liquid zone
- High efficiency due to fine tolerances
- High quality, reliability and durability
- Short delivery time
- Low energy consumption
- Low maintenance costs

Principle of Operation
Mag-drive pumps or magnetic drive pumps are practically centrifugal pumps driven by a motor through magnetic coupling instead of a mechanical shaft. The pump works via a drive magnet that eliminates any shaft sealing required by the pump. Then the pumping action is the same as the conventional centrifugal pump, where fluid is moved from suction to discharge through centrifugal force.
Mag-drive pumps are sealless pumps, which is a great advantage as this design eliminates the risks of leaks. This makes mag-drive pumps perfect for pumping hazardous fluids that should not leak into the environment and ultra-pure liquids and hard-to-seal products.

ARBO Sealless Immersible Pumps
ARBO sealless immersible pumps are centrifugal pumps without shaft seals for installation in an open tank or pit where the motor remains above the liquid level, and the pump part is immersed in the liquid.
All parts are machined from solid plastic, with no metal parts in the liquid. These ARBO pumps are self-priming, which means that the impeller must be submerged.

Principle of Operation
ARBO immersible pumps are single-stage centrifugal pumps for open tank installation or in sumps. The pump part is immersed in the liquid and the motor remains above the liquid surface. They are perfect for circulation or transfer purposes with fixed or fluctuating level. The pumps operate by means of a “liquid seal” without any mechanical seal.
